Designer Housewife

We celebrated my grandma's birthday last weekend.  She had a great time and even though the weather was bad there were quite a few people there.  I helped by making the table decorations.  I made about 70 of them and my fingers are just healing.  Several people were wondering how I did it so I am posting the directions in the link below.  I originally made them as Christmas gifts for the grandparents of Kendall and I made and kept one for myself.  I got the idea from a friend at a craft show and thought, I could do that! I realized after I did it, I probably violated the copy-write laws with this photo so if Katie Ann Photography sees this, sorry and I'll make one of your new cutie if you like. HOW TO!

I am addicted to Pinterest and love the recipe ideas!  I decided to post some of the ones we liked!  Yummy!  Click on the name to see the recipe! Skinny Spaghetti with Sauteed Chicken and Tomatoes Joe made the beautifuly and yummy salad pictured above! Taco Casserole We also tried Beef and Broccoli , Buffalo Chicken Dip , Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti Casserole & Cheesy Chicken, Bacon & Tater Tot Crock Pot Bake !   All were very good and would make again! Spicy Fajita Chili I'm also planning to make this chili again this week.  It is so good and we have had it several times!  I got it from Taste of Home - Simple and Delicious.  I use ground turkey instead of the ground pork.  I'm sure it would be great either way!  Happy Cooking!

Kendall got a ton of fun jewely making kits, art kits, beads, etc...  You name it we can now make it!  She loves these things but to make it more fun I put them all up high and we are pulling them out individually to have art time at home!  A couple weeks agon we started our first project, 3D Paint! This project requires some waiting.  Outline, wait 30 min.  Fill in, wait 30+ min.  Then decorate.  She is having fun and with the time in between it's hard to get bored with it!
