Designer Housewife

Our first Halloween as a family of four!  Joe took Kendall around the neighborhood on the golf cart and got way to much candy.  She got like 5 full size candy bars and a bucket full of other great stuff.  Minnie, Mommy and Mema stayed back to hand out candy.  We all had a good night! Last weekend we visited Alldredge Orchards to take our annual pictures and pick out our favorite pumpkins!  We of course stopped in the bakery for a cookie & we bought some of Kendall's favorite apples that she had to try on the way home. Kiernan's first hayride

We welcomed Kiernan Sophia Johnson into our world October 8, 2012.  She was a couple weeks early as my due date was October 21st.  She was 7lbs 4oz and 20.5in long.  Big sister Kendall is so proud and loves her so much!  

Kendall is loving her fall activities!  She is doing cheer, soccer and gymnastics and loving her busy schedule.   Soccer game 4!  Kendall scored her 1st and 2nd goals this game!  She is on the Red Lava team this year playing on a 4 on 4 all girls U7 team.  

We finally finished the nursery!  I couldn't decide on bedding so I decided to make it myself.  It turned out just like I wanted.  I made three different sheets from the 4 different fabrics.  Also a matching boppy cover, burp rags and bibs.  I mostly started with patterns from various blogs online and altered them for my preferences! When she gets a name we will add a letter to the wall! Kendall like lots of girly-girls loves cheer leading!  She participated in camp this summer and will cheer this fall for the football players.  They had a performance to show off their cheers and dance skills! She is the 5th one from the left in the front row.

Joe and I attended a wedding in June of a college friend of mine.  We had a great time!  We visited the outside of the Parthenon, Ryman Auditorium & Andrew Jackson's Plantation with a few college friends before the wedding.  We also walked around downtown Nashville and stopped in various bars to catch some of the local music! We had a great time at the wedding/reception.  A little wine was spilled, shoes melted (or someone may have buttered them, lol) and lots of dancing and drinking!!

Kendall wrapped up her t-ball season in June but I am just getting around to updating my blog with everything that went on this summer.  She had a great time learning with her team and practicing in the back yard with Joe! Thrilled I'm taking her picture! Her team!
